Living in the mountains makes happiness for the Bivins Family.  2000-2006 has kept us residing above the 7000 foot mark.  Religious people say it puts them closer to God.  We love the fresh air, healthy lifestyle and the snow!

  2000 to 2006 in a nutshell.

The hotel industry has taken me from Northern Arizona, to Southern Utah and a move to the Teton Valley near Jackson Hole.  The final leg of this jumping around was not for money or a better job but to be near our families.  My mother, Maureen fought a long brutal battle against ovarian cancer.  She passed on 2/29/2004.  I decided to put my love of real estate to work in Big Bear, allowing my family and I to move back to Cali.  We are back in So Cal, close to our families and the land where it all started for my wife and I.  Thank you for visiting this website.

Post 2000 insight and the return to a resort realty career.

The end of the nineties brought much change to my life.  My wife Karin and I decided we needed a change of scenery (had to get back to high elevation living) and financial standing.

The moving and clawing up the corporate ladder of the hospitality business relocated my family and I through several beautiful locales and jobs. Chasing the money trail has been a trip that needed to change direction. Real estate became my career and passion. There is no stopping me now.

I am the same person.  Pottery has not left me and I have created many pots and art after moving from Northern Arizona.  The Bivins family have landed in the San Bernardino Mountains, back  in Southern California. The journey is never over but we are home now and TBivins Pottery is back in production.
